5Great Brush Set  Mar 05, 2011
By Neuromind
Received this brush set as a birthday present, and I really like it. Did some research before selecting this brand, and so far they have been exactly as expected.

Took them on a business trip where I was out of town for a week, and was very glad to have them. The antibacterial coating makes them lower maintenance; requiring less washing. The roll-up pouch made transporting them a breeze.

There are 24 brushes in this set. The Maestro set was tempting, but did not offer the variety and styles I knew I would use. The price comes to about $5-$6 per brush, compared to others that run $20 to $50+ per brush. I own some of these other high end brushes, and right now can't see why I'd want to spend that much money when I've found these.

Couple things:
* On YouTube you'll find product reviews and demos for these brushes and others as well.
* Remember these brushes are treated with something to make them antibacterial and this coating won't last forever. I was told that the coating could last about 50 washes, so after that consider using an antibacterial wash.
* Also, the manufacturer recommends using gentle soap for cleaning, as the harsher soaps and brush cleaners will take off the antibacterial coating.
* Even after the first wash these brushes did shed a little, but no more than many other brushes (including my high end ones). So for the price I'm okay with that.
* Since I just got these, I cannot say how long they will last but so far they're great.

4love these make-up brushes.  Aug 22, 2010
By mr. skittles mama
I just love love love these make-up brushes. My first encounter with them was at the IMATS 2010 in Pasadena. Great bang for your buck! I had no issues with them they did not shed like some more expensive brushes I have purchased in the past. I cannot vouch for them being antibacterial, but I will most definitely purchase them again.

The brushes are so good . They are soft and applying the make up perfectly . There is only one thing missing which is the fan brush . I added the one i have before to this set and now i have the complete and best make up brushes set . And the case included is really easy to fold and store . I just love it

4Need Eye Makeup Brushes? These Are Great!  Apr 13, 2011
By Marla McDowell
I seem to be writing a variety of reviews on obscure products tonight. But I'm on a roll, so here's this one.

I bought these brushes about six months ago and for the most part, they're great! I must admit that there's several that I haven't used, and I haven't yet figured out the utility of the white bristle nylon brushes, but nevertheless the ones I've used are fabulous. They're all great quality brushes and I particularly like the larger angled brush for applying a color in the crease, as well as the two that I've used for my "eye liner," the large brush that I use for my main color and the highlighting brush. If you use multiple brushes, this is the set to get.

I have a friend that's really into makeup, as she was a model when she was younger, and she's taught me several tricks of the trade over the years. The one I like the best is my "eye liner" trick. I use the dark eye shadow colors as eyeliner - by mixing them with water. Here's a few of my tricks.

I buy a few specific Lancome products - mascara, Clis - the white pre-mascara thickener, and the creme foundation. Most of the time I wait until they have their "purchase with purchase" or "free with purchase" specials, and then get the free products. I always use Lancome eye shadows, but rarely buy them, because I can get so many colors for "free" (well not really, because I'm buying the makeup, which isn't exactly inexpensive, but is reasonable, when I can get the other free stuff while making my regular purchase). So I've always got more eye shadow than I can possibly use and their colors are better on me than the usual stuff that I would buy. I use the darker colors as eye liner, and it makes a great line when mixed with water. Sometimes I even combine colors to get the shade I want.

So, if you're looking for great eye makeup brushes, buy these. You won't be sorry.

I was a bit disappointed with this product, if I am completely honest, then again this company had some rave reviews about how soft they were maybe my expectations were too high. There is one brush that stands out as amazing, and that is 975, the 769 is also nice - can't recommend it enough so soft and can I use it for everything from blending blush or bronzer to buffing in foundation and powders. Love it. I was a bit disappointed when I first opened them and had a play, I found the tapered blending brush and the natural powder or 785 and 980 a bit scratchy, and even after a thorough wash the powder brush still smells a bit solventy, most of the other brushes don't smell any more so that was a bit of a disappointment. However I must point out that these brushes can be soft when used in the right direction but it is hard to avoid a bit of the scratchiness. I was also a bit upset with the shedding and the stuck out hairs on some of them. Not all the brushes shed but definitely the powder brush, angled face and kabuki brush were the worst. I feel that I should also mention that I live in England and got them shipped over here, wasn't impressed with Senyx as I had to pay the post office an extra £25 to get them (about $41) which is not on, but I have filed a complaint as the items did not arrive on time. Overall this is an ok set, it is good if you don't have any makeup brushes like I didn't but I think I will have to find an alternative to the tapered blending, and possibly the natural powder brush, also this kit could really do with a large fluffy eyeshadow brush, which I am surprised they left out, the eyeshadow brushes are not very good at all except the 769 which I surprised myself by liking alot and the pencil brush is also good. I think it will get better with use and washes, but the kit didn't live up to my expectations.
